Julie, over at notes on paper hosts a monthly meme called Months in Numbers. I’ve been reading along with everyone’s months in numbers posts for ages now but can never manage to get a post together myself.
But this month is different.
This month I have been keeping track.
1 – manicure
1 – skirmish football game
2 – attempts at sourdough bread
3 – times we went bowling
3 – times I have failed to publish a post I have written
4 – times the boys went swimming
5 – trips to Lowes for faucet handles to date
6 – new recipes made – 2 chicken dishes from Rachel Ray and 4 vegetable & dessert ones from Cook’s Illustrated
7 – days the boys have been in school
8 – football practices
8 – new books read
10 – times Mayhem lost Wii privileges
14 – overdue books ($1.05 in fines)
15 – old books reread
326 – dollars in unexpected expenses (lowest month to date!)

DD & I both laughed (sorry) at poor Mayhem losing Wii privileges so many times! Lack of computer is the punishment of choice here too but is less and less effective – damn those smart phones!
