I was in Target the other day when I spotted the perfect prop for my annual photo shoot.
It’s a mini tree! Perfectly sized for the dinos & the clones!
I had to buy it. I could get them all to stand around it, hugging.
I brought it home, set it up and plugged it in.
The potential was immediately grasped by the dinos, who got into my smallest sized ornaments.
(look! bokeh!)
Not to be outdone, Darth & company also dragged out some ornaments, taking off the dinos’ to put on their own.
This led to squabbling & fighting over the ornaments
There was some hoarding & things quickly got out of hand
There was even a chase scene
I made some threats & eventually they all at least acted like buddies
“No really, I am hugging him”
Sadly for Darth the Force doesn’t work on dinos.
I eventually badgered them into working together & it went well.
Apart from the crowding
and some backsliding by known troublemakers.
These two get into it every year.
Oh, and the logical conclusion of two competitive groups decorating a tiny tree with somewhat overscale ornaments
Maybe I need to get a second tree.
